About this Project:

As part of an assignment for Subediting and Design class, students were asked to redesign a newspaper (or design a new one altogether). I chose the Daily Planet, the fictional newspaper that employs Clark Kent and Lois Lane in the Superman comics. It allowed creative freedom and the exploration of a totally different world. Using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Bridge, I was able to give the Daily Planet an updated look while still paying homage to the comic book aesthetic of yore.
